Back in the early days of the new Millennium for an accomplished Engineer – Tom Lykken of Fargo, North Dakota with the idea of building a comfortable and versatile ice fishing machine that ended up getting called “The Ultimate Ice Fishing Dream Machine”™ by Bob Izumi – Canada’s top Professional Angler and television host to Bob Izumi’s Real Fishing Show.
SnoBear began producing machines for the 2004/2005 ice fishing season. Now, SnoBear has produced hundreds of their flagship vehicles and put them in the hands of passionate ice fishing enthusiasts through our dealer network across North America and a small amount of other machines such as the Grizz which is used in areas like the Arctic Circle to transport Geoscientists and their equipment.
